Book Review: Lux by Courtney Cole

This series is incredible and well worth the investment.  However, a short disclaimer – this entire series is confusing and sometimes hard to track but STAY with it!  It’s an incredible work of art!  The Nocte Trilogy is very well written with a well thought out plan.  The story itself waxes and wanes, changing chapter by chapter and Lux is no different.  Courtney’s ability to suck in a reader is genius.  She kept me so confused and craving the ending like an addict needs their next fix.  I loved the ending (I won’t share it with you obviously, where is the fun in spoiling, right?).  But Lux, in particular, did help solve all the questions swirling in your head, even about the other books.  Who is crazy?  Dare?  Calla?  Finn?  Who is dead?  Dare?  Calla?  Finn? This story evolves and is constantly changing which makes this a challenging book to read, but I think that’s what made it so good.  How often do we read stories that are cute or even good but don’t contain that “WOW” factor that makes that book / series difficult to forget?  This series is definitely one of the “wows.”  I thoroughly enjoyed this series, including the final installment of Lux.  I’ve enjoyed recommending the series to my friends, even more so now that the series is complete and I can’t wait to see what else Courtney Cole has in store for future projects.

** I was provided an arc for a fair and honest review.**
