The Accidental Assassin by Nicole Chase Review

Prepare yourself to fall in love with an assassin.  I bet you never thought you’d ever say those words but after reading The Accidental Assassin you won’t be able to help yourself and if you’re like me you’ll be wanting more of Owen and Ava.  I really hope that she continues their story line and makes this a series or at least a sequel. It has so much potential and I really loved this book.   If you are looking for a fast-paced book full of fun, quirky characters, action packed with a sweet romance then this is the book for you!

I couldn’t stop telling my friends and family about this book when they’d so rudely interrupt me from my reading and expect me to function in the real world. LOL.  How can you not be intrigued by an American who is staying in her friend’s London apartment while she’s on her honeymoon and accidently kills a man who’s has a hit out on him by an assassin?  Yep, that’s how Ava gets involved with Owen. Owen who has got to be the sweetest assassin ever. I didn’t think they existed before now.

Ava is such a fun character.  She had me laughing with her innocence and the mouth of a sailor. She definitely lightened up many intense situations.  Then there’s Owen. I loved watching as his true self came out throughout the book.  Here was a man who killed for a living, but had no problem embracing his feelings.  He is definitely not your stereotypical male and he even made my swoon worthy list and that’s not an easy list to get on. 😉

This is the first book that I’ve read by Nicole Chase but it won’t be my last.  The plot was well developed, fast paced, had great character development, heart pounding action, and romance.  It has everything you could want in a book with the best quality ever.  You will not want to put it down and you will quickly fall in love with the characters.

** I received an arc for a fair and honest review. **
